Decemeber 5, 2012: Pomona Valley Hospital
Pomona Valley Hospital's Annual Christmas Celebration
Jack Bohlka, aka my mentor, sets up a a slice of the North Pole every December at the Pomona Valley Hospital. All are welcomed from the area and even those who are far away. This event is especially for the children who are sick and can't leave the hospital because of their conditions. Here, Santa came to visit these children and even give them a photo with Santa. My job was to print and save the files while Jack and I switched memory cards back and forth. I remember 2 small children who were visiting their mom in the hospital. We made 2 prints, one for the children and the other for their mother who was too sick to come down. Some patients came down in their wheel chairs and were so over joyed to see Santa there, children and adults. Overall I'd say the event was a success!
